The following download contains The New Players Audition Worksheet. The worksheet is four pages long and contains a list of questions aimed at helping you understand your character and the scenes in which they live. When answering each question, be as specific as possible to gain as much information as you can from the script.

The last page of each worksheet has questions designed to open your imagination and help you create a unique and personal take on your character. On this page, we encourage you to use the information you gained from the text (the script, sides or other provided materials), your imagination, and your emotional life to connect yourself to your characters and the scenes you are performing.

Note: To help you embody your characters more fully, we have chosen to phrase all workbook questions in the first person.

For example, instead of saying, “My character wants...,” we use “I want, I need, etc.”
